Bill of Sale
Florida does not require a notary to witness the signing of a bill of sale.
However, it is recommended that you use a notary to witness the document regardless, to help prove the authenticity of the document if it is ever disputed. Furthermore, notarization enhances the credibility of the document.
Note, if the buyer and seller are in different locations and want to have the document notarized, they will each need to have it notarized separately.
A Bill of Sale is recommended along with a car title as proof that you purchased the vehicle in question. Having the bill of sale form notarized ensures the credibility of the car title.
