Building Permit

An owner seeking to notarize an application for a building permit must sign the application in the presence of the notary public. The contractor in the application must also sign the application in the presence of a notary public.

Typically, some county/city’s require, for these documents to be filled out and signed in black pen. Please check with your city or county’s requirements for the “pen color” rule.
